The 12th annual Art Odyssey Self-Guided Tour of Artist Studios is Thursday, September 28 – Saturday, September 30. It offers an opportunity to visit juried artists’ working studios in the Twin Lakes area. You will be able to see them at work and browse through the artwork for sale inside their personal studios.
You can get a sneak-peak of the artists’ work by stopping at the Donald W. Reynolds Library, Serving Baxter County, anytime during regular business hours. The large glass display cases just inside the doors are filled with different pieces of art from each artist.
This year’s artists include residents in Baxter and Marion Counties in North Central Arkansas. There is no charge for the tour, and no tickets are required. The mission of the Art Odyssey is to encourage public awareness of art and artistic expression in Arkansas’ Ozarks.
This year’s Tour Guide features 3 different possible routes that could be taken to see all the artists. By scanning a QR code next to each route, you will be able to ensure that you have seamless directions to each artist’s studio. Tour Guides will be available at the Donald W. Reynolds Library, the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce, several area businesses, or at the artist’s studios.
