Arkansas State Police (ASP) Troopers travel millions of miles on Arkansas highways each year, engaging with fellow Arkansans and making a difference every day. Part of our public service mission is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they encounter.
In 2024 alone, dedicated Troopers have assisted over 34,000 motorists, providing crucial support and peace of mind. Their efforts include conducting more than 11,000 welfare checks, offering aid to 1,451 distressed motorists, and changing 1,437 flat tires. From jump-starting vehicles to giving helpful directions, Troopers are always ready to lend a hand. Their commitment also extends to ensuring the safety of our youngest passengers by inspecting child safety seats and assisting with necessary vehicle repairs.
Every interaction with our Troopers has the potential to inspire, and we invite you to share Your ASP story! We want to hear from you if you have had a memorable or uplifting experience with an ASP Trooper. Please share Your ASP Story by clicking on this link: My ASP Story. You may also submit stories by email at [email protected]. Learn about other ASP Stories on our social media pages. (Facebook, Instagram and X)
Remember that safety is paramount as you embark on your journeys this holiday season. For non-emergency inquiries or to report concerns, such as observing suspicious activity, witnessing dangerous driving, or assisting stranded motorists, simply dial *ASP or *277. Your call will connect you directly to the nearest ASP headquarters and put you in touch with a Trooper in your area, ready to help.
Your Arkansas State Police is here for you, dedicated to serving and protecting with pride and commitment.
This is part of the YOUR ARKANSAS STATE POLICE campaign to educate the public about the critical services and resources being provided by ASP. You can learn about the campaign and other featured divisions on the Your Arkansas State Police webpage.
