Arkansas State University-Mountain Home will offer a slate of noncredit community education classes beginning in April, ranging from dog obedience to quilting to watercolor painting.
The classes are open to the public and designed for personal enrichment rather than academic credit.
Offerings include a six-week beginning dog obedience course on campus grounds starting April 1, a four-week sewing course with afternoon and evening sections beginning April 7, a three-week beginning quiltmaking course starting April 21 and single-session classes in fine art painting, watercolor and Mother’s Day card making.
Fine art painting sessions meet April 7 and April 21 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Art Room at the Sheid. The watercolor class meets April 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the same room. The Mother’s Day card making class meets April 23 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
