Arkansas State University-Mountain Home will host its TrailGate event March 28 at Lester White Baseball Field at Cooper Park, with a community tailgate beginning at 11 a.m. and a baseball game starting at 1 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. First Security Bank is sponsoring free hot dogs and hamburgers. Additional concessions will also be available.
Activities will include yard games, face painting, a photo booth and other family events leading up to the first pitch. The university will also hold a Sophomore Day ceremony before the game, honoring the program’s sophomore student-athletes in a special presentation.
The TrailGate is designed to bring the campus and the surrounding community together, according to the university.
Lester White Baseball Field is located at Cooper Park in Mountain Home. Families are encouraged to arrive early for food and activities before the game.
