The 10th annual Back the Blue event will honor law enforcement officers during the Walleye Dinner on Friday, Aug. 7, at VFW Hoevel-Barnett Post 1341 in Bull Shoals.
The event, first held in 2017, recognizes those who serve local communities, counties, the state and the nation. The public is invited to attend.
Dinner runs from 4 to 6 p.m., with a ceremony at 5 p.m. Officers and one guest each dine free, and organizers ask officers to come in uniform or show a badge. Children 12 and under also eat free, up to two per adult.

Organizers will give away door prizes to officers and their guests through a free raffle.
The dinner costs $16 and is available for dine-in or takeout at the post, 1206 Central Blvd.
