The Baxter County Library is selling pinwheels in honor or memory of mothers and other women as a Mother’s Day fundraiser for the Library Hill Trail, with a celebration event scheduled for May 9.
Pinwheels can be purchased at the library. Proceeds will go toward finishing touches and long-term care of the trail, which has already met its initial fundraising goal.
The library will host a Pinwheel Trail walk from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 9. Participants can walk the trail, pick up their pinwheels and bring a picnic to the library lawn. Sweet treats will be provided.
