Do you ever wonder what goes on inside the library after hours? This secret world will be revealed with your stuffed animal friends at the Library Stuffed Animal Sleepover.
On Friday, March 4, at 4:30 pm kids are invited to leave their stuffed animals behind at the library to enjoy a fun sleepover! The stuffed animals are then photographed by Library staff having all sorts of fun while on their overnight adventure. Saturday, March 5 at 11 am, when parents and kids arrive to pick up their stuffed animals, they can enjoy a light breakfast, a special story time, and view all the magical photos of their friends at the library!
Stuffed animal sleepovers are one of the latest trends taking place in libraries to encourage young children to read. The events combine creative play, storytelling, and a love of books into a magical experience! These events, which are often filled with magic and wonder, may help encourage kids to pick up a book and read on their own!
