The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office is informing the public of a scheduled upgrade to its records management system that will take place over the next several days.
During this time three features on the website called Inmate Roster, Warrants, and Deadbeat Dads and Moms, will show “OFFLINE FOR MAINTENANCE”.
According to a press release sent to media, the Sheriff’s office says, “From public feedback, we know our website is used daily by parents, teachers, employers, and others. The other parts of the website will remain functional, including the new animal control web page.”
The Sheriff’s Office claims to have averaged more than 2.6 million visits to its website each year over the last three years, including more than 50,000 unique visitors each month. Thus far, there have been more than 1 million visitors to the website, year to date.
The Sheriff’s Office apologizes for any inconvenience.
