Baxter Health has added Mikalee “Brooke” Hinrichs, APRN, to its Comprehensive Women’s Clinic, where she is now accepting new patients. She joins Dr. Maureen Flowers at the clinic.
Hinrichs is already a familiar face there. She spent about six years as a registered nurse at the clinic, caring for patients through pregnancy, labor and delivery, and general women’s health, before stepping into her new role as a nurse practitioner.
Her focus is preventive and routine care. That includes wellness exams, contraception counseling, menstrual health, menopause management and gynecologic conditions. She will also see Dr. Flowers’ obstetric patients when Flowers is unavailable.
Hinrichs built her career in Mountain Home. She began as a licensed practical nurse, then earned her registered nursing degree, both from Arkansas State University Mountain Home. She later completed a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s as a family nurse practitioner through Walden University.
“Brooke has been part of this team, part of this clinic, and part of this community for years,” said Brian Barnett, vice president of physician enterprise and business development at Baxter Health. “Our patients already know her, and that trust is something you cannot put a price on.”
Hinrichs and her husband have been married 11 years and have two children. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hunting, fishing and time on the lake.
