Buffalo National River is asking for public feedback as it develops a new River Management Plan to guide the long-term stewardship of the river corridor, the National Park Service announced Monday.
The plan is an update to the 1983 River Use Management Plan and is intended to provide a management framework for future decisions balancing resource protection with river-based recreation and visitor experiences, particularly along the river corridor and its access points.
A 30-day public comment period runs from March 9 through April 10. Comments can be submitted online at parkplanning.nps.gov/BUFFrmp by clicking “Open for Comment,” or by mail postmarked no later than April 10 to: Superintendent, 402 N. Walnut Street, Suite 136, Harrison, AR 72601.
Park staff will host three in-person open-house meetings and one virtual session for those who want to learn more before submitting feedback.

Daniel Civic Center, 515 Zack Road, Marshall.
