Christmas Wish has started raising money for the 2026 holiday season, four months ahead of Christmas.
The program buys gifts for local children whose families cannot afford them. Organizers said donations also cover clothing, shoes and coats, along with supplies needed to sort and hand out the gifts.
Money is used in part to fill gaps for children who are not fully adopted by a sponsor, organizers said. Families and children are matched with donors through the program each year.
Donations are being accepted through a GoFundMe campaign at gofund.me/bbce9d638, through Venmo at @ChristmasWishNP and through Cash App at $ChristmasWishNP.
The program also maintains gift registries at Amazon and Walmart for donors who would rather buy items directly.
Organizers said contributions of any size help, and that sharing the request with others costs nothing.
Christmas Wish is also looking for businesses, organizations and individuals to sign on as 2026 sponsors.
