Mountain Home Mayor Hillrey Adams and members of City Council presented Mountain Home Fire Chief Kris Quick with a plaque of appreciation for his 30 years of service to Mountain Home during Thursday’s regular council meeting.
Quick was appointed Fire Chief in 2020 after 26 years of service to the city. He replaced former MHFD Chief Ken Williams, who retired after 35 years of service to the city.
Quick began his service as a volunteer fireman for five years, before joining MHFD full time in 1994. During his time with the city, Quick served as both captain and assistant chief before being appointed as chief by Adams.
