County and Circuit Clerk’s Office still accepting campaign filings

Due to the weather, the Baxter County Judge’s Office will be closed today.

Judge Pendergrass said he will watch the weather, and make a decision about opening on Friday afternoon.

The Budget Committee Meeting schedule for today has also been canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date.

At this time, the County and Circuit Clerk’s Office will remain open for candidate filing. As of this Tuesday, all candidates seeking office have until noon on March 1 to officially file for their respective positions with the Clerk’s Office.
