Fred Berry Crooked Creek Nature Center will be visiting the Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County on Thursday, July 27, at 4:00pm to teach a teen program on Survival Bracelets. Learn about the structure and function of survival bracelets, then make one to take home.
Paracord bracelets are also known as survival bracelets, 550 cord bracelets, or parachute cord bracelets and are considered survival tools. The bracelets are worn by survivalists, hikers, climbers, campers, or anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Paracord is super strong and can hold 550 pounds of weight, which is also why they are called 550 cord bracelets!
This program requires registration, and it will close on July 25, 2023, at 8:00pm. Allowed grades are 7th Grade and up. Register for this program and more by visiting the website calendar at www.BaxLib.org/Events.
