The Friends of the Baxter County Library are hosting a Quilt Raffle. The quilt will be hung on display in the glass case near the entrance to the Library. Raffle tickets are available for purchase at the Library now through the drawing, which will be held on April 26 at 6:15pm. Tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20 and can be purchased at the Library’s Circulation Desk; cash or checks will be accepted.
This twin-sized quilt depicts a bookshelf filled with colorful books and was donated to the FOL for the raffle by Mountain Home resident, Ms. Darlene Landrum. A Nationally Certified Quilt Judge and an avid quilter for the last 20 years, Ms. Landrum “enjoys making art and traditional quilts with modern elements”.
