Fulton County Hospital will host its first Passion For Caring Fun Run/Walk at the Salem City Park at 8 a.m. April 29. All ages are welcome to participate in the event, the proceeds of which will go toward needed hospital equipment.
Entry fee is $25. Those who register before April 10 are guaranteed an event t-shirt. People may register by visiting North Arkansas Family Clinic located behind the hospital Monday through Thursday or by mailing their name, shirt size and phone number, along with a $25 check, to Fulton County Hospital; Passion For Caring Fun Run/Walk; PO Box 517; Salem, AR 72576. Volunteers at Salem, Viola and Mammoth Spring schools also are gathering registration fees for students and employees that will be picked up by April 11.
The entry fee also can be paid at registration the day of the event; however, only a limited number of t-shirts will be available.
The run/walk will not be timed, but the lap length will be marked.
