The Good Samaritan Society of Mountain Home chose the Operation Christmas Child for their community outreach for the season.
Residents, staff, wellness center members, outpatients, and more started collecting items at the beginning of October. They had one month until their planned resident “packing shoe-box party” and on Nov. 4 packed 65 shoe-boxes!!
Yesterday a couple residents including Marilyn, Ruth and Bethany Clark dropped off the shoe-boxes after praying over them.
A special thanks to Shari Alexander of Operation Christmas Child and Dre Casassa of Good Samaritan Society who helped put on the event for residents to participate in.
