A new year is finally upon us, and so are Mountain Home’s New Year bashes!
While many residents already have their favorite spot in mind, here’s a list of some of the best places in the vicinity to visit on New Year’s Eve for all of the newcomers to the area.
The Arena Sports Grill
The Arena Sports Grill will offer live music and a prime rib special on New Year’s Eve from 4 p.m. until midnight. Tom Bryant will take center stage for that night’s musical entertainment.

Big Creek Golf and Country Club
For those seeking fine dining on New Year’s Eve, Big Creek has you covered. Erin Walters will be the night’s entertainment for club members and guests.

Appetizer:
Crab Louie – Jumbo lump crabmeat, boiled eggs, asparagus on a romaine lettuce bed and Louie dressing, a creamy blend of spices.
Entrée:
Beef Wellington – A filet of beef with mushroom duxelles and pate encased in flaky puff pastry and baked, presented with demi glaze and roasted root vegetables.

House mixed green salad with champagne vinaigrette

Limoncello Sorbet

Buncle’s Brickoven and Brews
For those looking to party with KKTZ’s DJ Peace, Buncle’s has you covered. There’s no cover charge for the event, and the Buncle’s crew will be handing out hats, noisemakers, and a free glass of champagne for the evening’s festivities.
Diners can expect to get dinner of blackened salmon with lemon butter over rice, with veggies for the evening special for $18.99.

Crush Studio
Crush Studio will be ringing in the New Year in spectacular “Roaring 20s” fashion. Guests are encouraged to dress up and drop in to dance the night away.

For those looking to participate in a quieter evening, Impact Faith Church has you covered. The church will be hosting a New Year’s Even Worship Night for those wishing to attend a service.

Juniper’s Back Door

Ole Mill Tavern is firing up the karaoke machine for its second annual Chaotic Karaoke on New Year’s Eve. The “singing” starts at 7 p.m. for those interested in hitting the stage.

Rapp’s Barren Brewery
For those looking to hunker down with a cold beer and some live music, Rapp’s has you covered. At least until they close. Rapp’s is keeping regular hours this New Year’s Eve.

The Royal 66
The Royal 66 is throwing a mafia-themed bash to ring in their new management and the new year.
A $10 surcharge will get you in the door to the party after the doors open at 6 p.m. Free cab rides will be offered to those attending the event.
Plush, a 90s rock band, will take to the stage at 8:30 p.m. before turning to DJ P from 11 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
The Royal 66’s evening bash will also feature door prizes and other giveaways throughout the night.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Ozark Post 3246
Mountain Home’s local VFW chapter is putting on their own party this year in grand style. For those interested in dancing, the VFW invites guests to join them for a spin on the floor to tunes by Backwoods Rebel.
Dinner will also be served when the doors open at 8 p.m. and will include ham, black-eyed peas, cornbread, and a champagne toast at midnight.
