The Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County is bringing back its Read, Write, Ignite literary series with a mind mapping workshop for writers on Tuesday, Aug. 25.
The session runs from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and is open to teens and adults.
Local writer and educator Christine Lunceford will lead the workshop. Mind mapping is a visual method for organizing thoughts and generating ideas, and the library is pitching it to writers who feel stuck or overwhelmed by a project.
Participants will learn the basics, look at ways to use the technique in writing projects and everyday planning, and build a personalized mind map to take home.
Lunceford teaches a “Write a Book in 9 Weeks” course at Arkansas State University Mountain Home.
Registration is required and closes Monday, Aug. 24, at 5:30 p.m. Sign up at baxlib.org.
