Mountain Home High School will host a Pac-Man themed blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross on Friday, Dec. 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the school’s gym lobby.
The blood drive, featuring retro arcade game graphics and the tagline “Ready? Donate Blood,” will take place at the school located at 500 Bomber Boulevard.
Donors who give blood between Nov. 17 and Dec. 7 will receive an exclusive pair of Red Cross and Pac-Man socks while supplies last, according to the Red Cross.
Those interested in donating can schedule appointments by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767), visiting RedCrossBlood.org, or downloading the Blood Donor App. Walk-ins will also be accepted.
The American Red Cross encourages eligible donors to give blood during the holiday season when donations traditionally decline but the need for blood remains constant.
