The Mountain Home Junior Squad finished second overall at the 2026 Regional Trap Tournament on Friday, April 24, earning a spot at the State Tournament scheduled for May 29.
The five-shooter squad of Benson Hopper, Case Hardin, Luke Hopper, Wyatt Bourg and Austin Still shot 109 out of 125 to claim the runner-up finish.
Two lightning delays interrupted the squad’s round. Heavy rain and lightning marked conditions for shooters across the field.

The regional event drew 127 junior teams and 555 shooters. Junior shooters get a single round at regionals, and the top 16 teams advance to state.
Case Hardin posted a perfect 25 out of 25 round. Luke Hopper earned a spot on the Top Five Shooters board with 24 out of 25.
