On Tuesday night, the Mountain Home Public School Board met in a special session to consider issues with the track construction. Due to several delays in completion, the Board voted to end the agreement with its current track construction company and move forward with the second bidder for track updates.
MHPS officials said, barring any weather delays, the district should have a completed track before October 20.
The Board also held a work session where they developed a social contract and reviewed goals for the upcoming year. During the work session, the Board asked to reinstate the district’s monthly lunch board meeting that were rotated through each campus in years past.
