The City of Mountain Home is accepting proposals from companies interested in operating a café in the upcoming Mountain Home Community Center at 1 Community Center Drive.
Sealed proposals must be delivered to the City of Mountain Home by 2 p.m. on September 26, 2025. The café space will encompass approximately 883 square feet, including 771 square feet of café area and 112 square feet of storage.
The finished space will include a handwashing sink and three-compartment sink, with the selected operator responsible for providing all other equipment, furnishings and materials. No changes to the interior or exterior will be permitted without city approval.
The café will have dedicated utilities, including 225 amps of 480/227 and 225 amps of 120/308 phase electrical panels. The city is requiring a minimum one-year lease agreement, with the monthly lease amount to be included in proposals.
An onsite walkthrough with Mayor Adams is mandatory for all interested parties on or before September 19, 2025. To schedule a walkthrough, contact the mayor’s office at (870) 425-5116.
While café owners will set their own hours of operation, the city expects service hours to align with the Community Center’s daytime business hours.
The city reserves the right to reject any or all proposals without providing reasons, serve as the sole judge of equivalency, and waive any bid requirements in accepting or rejecting proposals.
A site plan for the café space is available with the full RFP documentation. Interested parties should contact the mayor’s office for complete proposal requirements and walkthrough scheduling.
