The Mountain Home High School softball team is taking orders through Nov. 13 for its 13th annual holiday meat sale, partnering with Holy Smokes BBQ and Catering to offer smoked meats for Thanksgiving and holiday gatherings.
The fundraiser features a variety of smoked meats ranging from $25 to $70, with all items pre-smoked and packaged with reheating instructions. Orders will be available for pickup Thursday, Nov. 20, from 3:45 to 6 p.m. at Auto Services Co. Inc. and the Rob & Nicki Finley Sports Complex, 411 W. Wade Ave.
Available items include turkey breast ($70, approximately 4-5 pounds), pork butt ($45, approximately 5 pounds), beef tri-tip ($50, approximately 2.5-3 pounds), boneless ham ($70, approximately 7 pounds), rack of ribs ($30, approximately 3 pounds), and pork tenderloin ($25, approximately 2 pounds).
New this year, the team is offering boudin ($25 for half-pound links) and jalapeño cheddar or smoked Polish sausage ($35, approximately 2 pounds). Dessert options include apple, blackberry, peach or cherry cobbler ($30, serving 12-15 people).
Customers can place orders by contacting Mountain Home softball players or visiting https://form.jotform.com/252725706084156. Those ordering are responsible for pickup unless prior arrangements are made with a team member.
All proceeds benefit Lady Bomber softball gear, team shirts, tournament fees and other equipment needs.
