Novelist Suzanne Woods Fisher will talk with readers about her National Parks Summers series at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County. She will join the event virtually.
Her latest book, “Chase the Light,” is the second in the series. It follows a ranger at Acadia National Park in Maine who finds a weathered note near a remote lighthouse and pulls open a century-old mystery involving a lost shipwreck, missing gold and a lighthouse keeper’s suspicious death. A romantic triangle runs alongside the treasure hunt.
The first book in the series, “Capture the Moment,” is set in Grand Teton National Park.
Fisher has written more than 40 books spanning contemporary romance, historical fiction and Amish fiction. She is a Christy finalist, a Carol and Selah award winner and a two-time ECPA Book of the Year finalist. Her work has appeared on the Publishers Weekly and ECPA bestseller lists.
Her other titles include “The Moonlight School” and “A Season on the Wind,” along with the Nantucket Legacy, Lancaster County Secrets, The Bishop’s Family and Cape Cod Creamery series.
