The Mountain Home Observer is pleased to announce that Stephanie Jackson will be joining our team as a journalist for the Spring semester.
Stephanie is an Arkansas-based freelance writer and digital designer who specializes in content writing, business branding and website design. She is joining the Observer to build up a portfolio for her budding journalism career.
She is a student at Arkansas State University, where she studies A/V production, creative writing and communication studies. She has previously worked in business management and merchandising and has been a radio personality and program director.
Stephanie’s time at the Observer will be spent focusing on business related articles. She has a deep passion promoting women owned businesses and will be writing a women focused business series for the Observer.
Her first article will be released tomorrow.
Stephanie resides in the Mountain Home area with her husband Daniel and their son Warren in a self-proclaimed “family zoo”, consisting of six cats, one dog, and one snake. She enjoys various forms of handcrafting such as bleach-dying tees and glass etching, experimenting in the kitchen, watching the latest horror movies, and most of all spending time with her family.
