The Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce has welcomed Steve Dunn as a new member of its board of directors.
Dunn is a lifelong Arkansas resident who graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, banking, and marketing. He also holds a degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
He has spent more than 40 years in the banking industry, beginning with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in Little Rock before moving to the local banking community in Mountain Home.
Dunn is a graduate of the Chamber’s leadership program and is a former president of the Chamber’s board of directors, making his return to the board a familiar one.
“Steve is excited about the opportunity to serve the community on the board again and has found a great deal of personal satisfaction in supporting the financial needs of our local community and having a positive impact on it,” the Chamber said in announcing his appointment.
