Arkansas children gained ground in some areas and lost it in others in the latest national report on child well-being. The state ranked 43rd overall and scored 427 out of 1,000 in the 2026 KIDS COUNT Data Book, an annual report from the Annie E. Casey Foundation. The national score was 547.
