The Baxter County Historical and Genealogical Society raised approximately $5,000 at its spaghetti dinner fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Elks Lodge.
About 200 people attended the event, which featured a meal prepared by Lisa House of the Water Store. The society printed 162 tickets and pre-sold 110, with additional sales at the door.
