Steve Parsons, a Lakeview economist and retired consultant, has entered the race for Arkansas' 1st Congressional District seat after receiving the Libertarian Party of Arkansas' nomination at its February convention in Little Rock.
Parsons, who holds a Ph.D. in economics, said his campaign centers on reducing government size and expanding individual freedoms.
