Baxter Health has submitted the first of four planned applications for a share of Arkansas' new rural health funding. The proposal asks the state to back a plan to expand telehealth, emergency response and home-based care across north central Arkansas. The Mountain Home system serves about 170,000 people across nine rural counties.
