A new karaoke venue has opened on the Mountain Home Square and will mark the occasion with a ribbon cutting and grand opening July 2. The Karaoke Barn is at 12 E. Seventh St.
The venue bills itself as a step beyond a standard karaoke night. It offers concert-quality sound and lighting, along with prop instruments that let performers round out the stage, according to the business. Singers can bring friends, bandmates or backup singers on stage with them, and the audience can tip standout acts.
The Karaoke Barn is an all-ages live music venue. It is open Thursday through Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m.
The building is also home to Honey B’s Frozen Yogurt, located inside The Karaoke Barn. Customers can order frozen yogurt and add their own toppings while they watch the show or wait their turn to perform.
Honey B’s is open Monday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The ribbon cutting and grand opening is set for 3 to 4 p.m. July 2. The public is invited to tour the venue and meet the owners.
