Twin Lakes Community Foundation donated $5,000 to The Reach Center to support a shelter for homeless individuals and families in our community during the winter months.
The Homeless Initiative Task Force, called together by Mountain Home Mayor Hillrey Adams decided to work with The Reach Center.
In the past, The Reach Center has only been an emergency shelter that was opened during very cold weather.
With the commitments from Twin Lakes Community Foundation and other individuals and organizations in our community, the Homeless Initiative Task Force will have the opportunity to help the homeless by providing a secure place to stay.
Donations may be mailed to The Reach Center, P O Box 521, Mountain Home, AR 72654 or dropped off at the center located at 1326 Rossi Road in Mountain Home.
