Twin Lakes Plaza no longer available as polling station, Fairgrounds to be used instead

The Baxter County Election Commissioner’s Office received notice Thursday that the Twin Lakes Plaza would not be available as a voting center for the opening of early voting on Monday.

The Twin Lakes Plaza has been one of the three polling locations for early voting this year and was slated to be a polling location for election day in November.

At the time of writing, the Election Commission has not stated why the plaza will be unavailable as a voting location next week.

Emergency arrangements have been made to use the Exhibit Building at the Baxter County Fairgrounds from Monday, October 24, through Tuesday, November 8.

The dates and times of voting will not change.
