The holiday season is officially wrapping up, and the various governments of Baxter County are getting back to work.
Mountain Home’s City Council will be holding a special meeting this evening to vote on the approval of the city’s 2020 audit. The council will also look to pass a resolution adopting the city’s 2021 budget.
The Baxter County Quorum Court has also announced that it will be meeting at its regularly scheduled time on Tuesday, Jan. 4.
The agenda for the court is as follows:
– The second reading of Ordinance 2022, which would see the adoption of a new personal policy manual for Baxter County employees.
– Introduction of an ordinance to appropriate fees and reimbursements received in the month of November to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office.
– Introduction of an ordinance to appropriate grant funds received from the state in the amount of $15,000 for the Clarkridge Fire Department to the County Judge’s Budget.
– Introduction of an ordinance to appropriate grant funds received from the state in the amount of $15,000 for the Cotter-Gassville Rural Fire Protection District to the County Judge’s Budget.
– Introduction of an ordinance to appropriate funds in the amount of $6,775 within the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office 2021 Budget.
– Introduction of an ordinance to appropriate funds in the amount of $4,677.28 within the Juvenile Services Department Budget.
– Introduction of a resolution confirming the appointment of Carol Pior by the County Judge to the Rodney-Jordan Volunteer Fire Protection District Board of Commissioners.
