The Baxter County 4-H Banquet, originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, has been postponed due to approaching winter weather.
Organizers cited concerns about travel conditions and 4-H members needing to care for animals during the weather event. The movie-themed celebration was set to feature nacho, popcorn, and dessert bars at the Baxter County Fairgrounds.
A new date for the banquet will be announced after coordination with fairgrounds officials. The event will maintain its original theme, encouraging attendees to dress as their favorite movie characters. The community service Spice Drive will continue as planned, with attendees asked to bring four McCormick spice packets per person when the event is rescheduled.
