Young Actors Workshop brings ‘Kung Fu Kitty’ to Baxter County Library

A weeklong Young Actors Workshop for students in fourth through ninth grade is underway at the Baxter County Library, hosted by Twin Lakes Playhouse and the library.

Playhouse member Ronna Fulton leads the workshop, with help from fellow member Josselyn Obregon. The program gives students a chance to explore theater while staging a production.

This year’s show is “Kung Fu Kitty” by Patrick Rainville Dorn and Jacob Dorn, a slapstick comedy. Participants will build performance skills and confidence while taking part in a live production.

The workshop runs through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the library. It ends with a public performance of “Kung Fu Kitty” at noon Saturday, June 27.
