Mountain Home High School seniors Jack Coleman and Caiden Kaspar have been named National Merit Finalists, placing them among the top high school scholars in the country.
The National Merit Scholarship Program identifies students who demonstrate exceptional performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, along with strong academic records, leadership and involvement in school and community activities. Advancing to Finalist status is the last step before scholarship awards, which will be announced later this spring.
“We are incredibly proud of Jack and Caiden for this remarkable achievement,” Mountain Home High School Principal Mary Beth Russell said. “Their dedication to academic excellence and commitment to their education truly set them apart, and they represent the very best of our district.”

As Finalists, Coleman and Kaspar are eligible to compete for National Merit Scholarships from among approximately 15,000 Finalists selected nationwide each year.
Mountain Home Public Schools congratulated both students and said it looks forward to their continued success.
